Last year,
FACT shocked fans by announcing that they would be calling it a day as a band after 16 years. However, their disbandment has also brought some exciting news: the members have formed two new groups.
The first,
Joy Opposites, features guitarist
Adam, bassist
Tomohiro and drummer
Eiji, as well as guitarist
Imran, who some may recognize from his brief stint with
The Amity Affliction. They will be releasing an album this year on a major label, although details have yet to be announced.
The other band,
SHADOWS, consists of
FACT vocalist
Hiro and guitarists
Kazuki and
Takahiro.
SHADOWS will release their first EP on March 30th and perform at the festival
PUNK SPRING 2016 in April.
FACT also recently announced that they will release a DVD, titled
002, this spring. It will feature music videos and footage from their last live at
ROCK-O-RAMA 2015.
