Visual kei band
metronome will be returning this fall.
In a video posted on their new
official website, it was announced that
Sharaku,
Fukusuke and
RIU will be playing a show together at Zepp Tokyo on September 19th. Whether this will be a brief reunion or the start of something more long-term is currently unclear.
Formed in 1998,
metronome paused activities in 2009, shortly after celebrating their 10th anniversary. Since then, the members have been busy with a wide variety of projects.
Sharaku is currently performing with his bands
FLOPPY and
GalapagosS, and as a solo artist.
Fukusuke has been performing as a DJ, with his solo project
ADAPTER and playing guitar in
THE BEETHOVEN.
RIU also has a solo project, and he has been performing with
KERA AND THE SYNTHESIZERS,
NEWTΦN, and a number of other bands.
