Performers Announced for Anisong World Matsuri at Anime Expo 2017

Anisong World Matsuri at Anime Expo 2017 has announced its first and second round of performers for the special concert event coming this June 30th and July 1st to the Microsoft Theater in downtown Los Angeles.

Two performers will be announced each day this week, for a total of ten anisong artists at this year’s event.

The first set of performers revealed on April 24th includes ALI PROJECT ("Rozen Maiden", "CODE GEASS Lelouch of the Rebellion") and Chihara Minori ("The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya", "Beyond the Boundary", "Sound! Euphonium").

The second set of performers revealed on April 25th includes GARNiDELiA ("Kill la Kill") and Suzuki Konomi ("No-Game", "No-Life"), who will join the lineup for the July 1st concert. Through the direction of six Japanese companies, Anisong World Matsuri LA 2017 is an anisong event that will take place on June 30th and July 1st jointly with Anime Expo 2017. By actualizing an event through the collective efforts of Japanese companies that focus on animation-related contents, the event aims to transmit Japan’s animation/anisong culture, and to maximize its value throughout the world.
