Korean indie rock duo 10cm will release their new album after a two-year hiatus.
Ten Music, the band’s agency, said that the second full-length album will be called 2.0 and will be released on October 10.
10cm’s previous album 1.0 was released in February 2011. Vocalist Kwon Jung Yeol and guitarist Yoon Chul Jong are the members, and the group is considered to be one of the most successful indie bands that made it into the mainstream music scene in Korea. They became a hot topic in 2010 when they released the hit song Americano, which was later used in MBC’s variety show ‘Infinite Challenge’.
