Rock duo to end career in July after 18 years.
Rock duo CHATMONCHY have announced that they will disband in July after eighteen years together.
The disbandment will be preceded by their final studio album, which is due out in June. The duo will play their final one-man live at Tokyo's Nippon Budokan on July 4th, and on the 21st and 22nd, they will hold a two-day festival in their hometown of Tokushima.
Elsewhere, on March 28th, Ki/oon Music will release the V.A. album CHATMONCHY Tribute ~I Love CHATMONCHY~. This will feature covers by the likes of Kinoko Teikoku, Guitar Wolf, NEGOTO and CHAI.
