Visual kei band Chanty will release their second full-length album on February 28th.
Titled Chanty no sekai e youkoso 2, it will feature 11 tracks. These will include album versions of Amakakeru, m.o.b. and Anata dake o kowashite kazatte mitai, as well as six new songs.
In addition, Chanty have announced a one-man tour for the spring titled Sakura mai chiru kinoshita de kimi ga matteru One-man Tour 2. It will begin on March 11th at Chiba LOOK, and its final date will be at Kichijouji CLUB SEATA on April 21st. The band will also be selling a limited release at the final show, although details on its title and contents have not been revealed yet.
Chanty was formed in 2013, with ex-Administrator vocalist Akuta at its centre. The band's name comes from rhythmical songs of labour sung by sailors, representing the way that the power of music can help people through hardships. The band went on hiatus in April 2017 after guitarist shia. was arrested on charges of fraud and subsequently fired from the group, but they resumed activities as a quartet in September.
