Singer-songwriter mahina will release a new mini-album on June 12th.
Titled BLUE, it will feature seven tracks. It will be her first release available for purchase in stores nationwide. You can find a digest trailer for the release on Twitter.
mahina is the solo project of MUTSUKI, the vocalist of pop duo Softly. She started this project in August 2018, shortly after the group paused activities at the end of the previous year. The project's name comes from the Hawaiian word for "moonlight".
She released a digital-only mini-album titled mahina & the sun last October, and it is available for purchase and streaming overseas via iTunes / Apple Music. She also recently contributed guest vocals to Night Distance, a track featured on instrumental jazz-rock band I love you Orchestra Swing Style's new album Smoky Valley.
