While ZIGZO is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, the band's ever-prolific vocalist Tetsu Takano has also announced a flurry of activity with two of his other projects.
First, Tetsu's bassless piano rock trio THE JUNEJULYAUGUST will release a new mini-album on May 24th. Titled Last Night in Babylonia, the release will feature three tracks, and the band also released two new songs titled The Last Waltz and Every Single Night digitally on May 15th. The tracks are available for download and streaming overseas via iTunes, Spotify and a wide variety of other distribution platforms. You can listen to them at the following links:
Tetsu's twin drum rock group THE BLACK COMET CLUB BAND will also be releasing a new mini-album on June 8th. Empty Fist will feature four tracks, and the band also released two songs digitally on the 15th. You can find links to stream and download the songs here:
In addition, both bands have welcomed new drummers. THE JUNEJULYAUGUST has recruited Tsukasa Inoue of fox capture plan, while THE BLACK COMET CLUB BAND has been joined by Jin Terui of PULLING TEETH. They are each replacing longtime member Koji Kaziwara, who departed from both bands in September 2018 for unspecified reasons.
