Hiroshi Kitadani to Perform New "One Piece" Theme

It has been announced that veteran anisong singer and JAM Project member Hiroshi Kitadani will be performing a new theme song for the popular anime series "One Piece".

While he collaborated with Kishidan for the series' 19th theme We Can! in 2016, this is the first theme that Kitadani has contributed to the series as a solo artist in about eight years, following 2011's We Go!. Kitadani famously sang the long-running series' first theme, We Are!.

The new song will be titled OVER THE TOP. It features lyrics written by Shouko Fujibayashi and music composed by Kouhei Tanaka, and it was arranged by Takayuki Negishi. All three played the same roles in creating We Are! and We Go!.

"One Piece" will begin airing with the new theme song on July 7th.
