Drummer Mr. Donuld Betch announced his departure from emotional dance-rock band FABLED NUMBER on January 9th.
In a comment on the band's website, Betch wrote that he is leaving because, due to some changes in his personal circumstances, it has become too difficult to continue band activities. He was quick to state
that he still loves both FABLED NUMBER's music and its members, and that this is not due to any negative feelings towards the band. He wrote that he is still eager to support FABLED NUMBER, and that he is thinking of how he can help them
out in other ways in the future.
While he will not be participating in the band's upcoming shows, he stated that before he withdraws completely, he wants an opportunity to thank the fans and play the drums live again, so an official farewell live for him will be announced at
a later date once the current situation has settled down. In the meantime, FABLED NUMBER will continue activities with a support member.
The remaining members also posted a group comment, reiterating that the members have not come to dislike each other at all and stating that they are all determined to continue on without stopping. They stated that while Betch will no longer be able to perform onstage with them, they will still be close in private and they would be extremely happy if he could join them at their shows in the future.
Betch was an original member of
FABLED NUMBER, and he played with the band for approximately seven years.
The band recently revealed a new MV for Symphonies Of The Dawn, the lead track from their upcoming mini-album ELEXGAME. Scheduled to hit stores on January 22nd, this mini-album is their first with ex-Fear, and Loathing in Las Vegas guitarist Sxun acting as their "director". The video was also produced by Sxun.
