Sumire Uesaka to Release New Album Internationally
JPU Records will release Sumire Uesaka's new album "NEO PROPAGANDA" on CD in Europe and North America on February 7th.
Singer and voice actress Sumire Uesaka's latest album NEO PROPAGANDA - due out in Japan and digitally on January 22nd - will get a physical release on CD in Europe and North America on February 7th via JPU Records.
This is Sumire's fourth album and it will feature twelve songs. These include Bon♡Kyu♡Bon wa kare no mono♡, her opening theme for the anime "Nande koko ni sensei ga!?", and last sparkle, which was produced for "POP TEAM EPIC TV Special". The lead single NEO TOKYO SINGING sees Sumire team up with Ryohei Shima, the frontman of rock band The Dresscodes, for a modern re-imagining of classic Japanese pop.
Her other collaborators include COALTAR OF THE DEEPERS bandleader NARASAKI and Kinniku Shoujo-tai frontman Kenji Ohtsuki on SPY; AI-KID of synthpop duo THE LETHAL WEAPONS on Kaiso! Rasputin!; and self-styled 'Akiba-pop' trio MOSAIC.WAV on a fast-paced tribute to Lu Bu of "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" and "Dynasty Warriors" fame.
