Rapper Tohji recently announced that he will be performing in London next month.
He will be taking the stage at Eastern Margins Takeover, an event that will be held at Secret Location, a temporary venue located at 91 Kingsland High St., on March 4th. Bo Ningen vocalist and bassist Taigen Kawabe's rap
solo project Ill Japonia will also be performing. Fans can find more details on the full line-up and RSVP here.
An up-and-coming artist, Tohji just started making music in 2017, but he has already begun to create a stir in the Japanese hip-hop scene due to his high-energy performances and unique aesthetic. He is perhaps best known for the song
Higher, released with a unit called Mall Boyz that he formed with fellow rapper gummyboy in 2018. Tohji just released his first official mixtape as a solo artist, angel, in 2019. The mixtape features a number of tracks
produced by
MURVSAKI, who has produced songs for well-known artists such as KOHH and BAD HOP.
