New Album from Bo Ningen

Alternative rock band Bo Ningen released a new album on June 26th.

Titled Sudden Fictions, it is their first new full-length release in six years, following up on 2014's III. The album features nine tracks, including B.C, which was released as a 7-inch vinyl single via UK-based label Alcopop! Records in March, and Minimal, which features guest vocals from Bobby Gillespie of Scottish rock band Primal Scream. The album was recorded at Vox Studios in Los Angeles, and it was produced by Drew Brown.

The album is available for download and streaming, as well as on CD and in a special 12-inch white vinyl edition from Alcopop! Records. The analogue edition is limited to 1000 copies, and a preview of it in action is available on the band's Facebook page.

Fans who order the album on vinyl or CD from Alcopop! within a week of the release date will also receive an art print shot by Taira Kurihara and produced by the band's guitarist Kohhei Matsuda. A 12-inch print will be included with the vinyl edition, while the CD will come with an A4-size print. There are also various bundles featuring T-shirts available via Alcopop!'s online store.

In addition, Bo Ningen have a UK tour to support the release planned for October. The Sudden Fictions Tour will begin at Ramsgate Music Hall in Ramsgate on October 3rd, and it will wrap up at Chalk in Brighton on the 16th. Ticket information is available on the band's official website.
