Rapper Shurkn Pap will release his major debut album on July 2nd.
NEW ERA will feature 10 tracks, and it will be released digitally on +809, a sublabel of Warner Music Japan.
Two of the collaborations featured on the album have already been released as preceding digital singles. The first, OASIS, features rapper ￥ellow Bucks, and it is said to declare Shurkn Pap's determination to advance to the next stage.
The second, Michael Schumacher, features rapper Jinmenusagi. Named after a former Formula 1 driver, the track features a sample of the famous guitar riff from the first opening theme of the anime "Touch", Yoshimi Iwasaki's song of the
same name. Shurkn Pap loves cars so much that he has called himself "Mr. Drive", and the track is said to feature the two men rapping dexterously over the beat as if they're driving.
