SKY-HI's New Album to Feature Collaborations with THE FIRST Contestants

As previously reported, SKY-HI will be releasing a new album titled Hachimenroppi on October 27th. The tracklist for the release was just unveiled recently.

Described as an album packed with songs he created with people he wanted to work with, disregarding genres and rules and focusing purely on his love for music, it will feature a number of collaborations.

These will include the previously-released tracks Dive To World feat. Takuya Yamanaka (THE ORAL CIGARETTES), Shiawase feat. Kan Sano, Holy Moly Holy Night (a joint release with rapper CHANMINA), Oh s**t!! (a collaboration with performance unit s**t kingz) and Tomorrow is another day feat. Michael Kaneko.

It will also add a number of new collaborations, including Good 4 You, which will feature a guest appearance from Thai rapper DABOYWAY.

The song 14th Syndrome will feature two 14 year-old contestants from SKY-HI's boy group audition show "THE FIRST": TAIKI (Taiki Mizoguchi), a rapper who made it to the top 15 before he was eliminated, and RUI (Rui Kawashima), a singer who was eliminated right before the top 10 but was signed to SKY-HI's management company/label BMSG as a trainee. Also featured on this track will be edhiii boi, who is said to be a "mysterious middle school rapper". One More Day will feature REIKO (Reiko Cadsawan), a "THE FIRST" contestant who placed in the top 10 and is also currently a BMSG trainee.

me time -remix, which was unveiled live recently, will feature Aile The Shota (Shota Watanabe), who made it to the final round of "THE FIRST" as well but was offered a solo artist contract with BMSG instead of a place in the boy group BE:FIRST.

Coincidentally, TAIKI, RUI, REIKO and SHOTA were all on the same team during the Creativity Screening of "THE FIRST". They wrote, choreographed and performed the song YOLO together with BE:FIRST member SHUNTO:
