It was recently revealed that a new creator unit called NOILION will be making their debut on anisong
label Lantis on January 21st.
NOILION is a trio consisting of bilingual vocalist LIO, who some anime fans may know from her work with Void_Chords, up-and-coming DJ KILLIT and REAK, a VJ active in the Japanese club scene who specializes in live performances using projection mapping. TeddyLoid is also serving
as the group's sound producer.
A teaser video produced by REAK has been released on YouTube. The video was created using a green background and a technique called volumetric photography. Reflecting NOILION’s concept of “Live On in the Noisy World", meaning "embracing
the warmth of being a human, through the noise and distortion of the digital age", the video expresses going back and forth between the real and digital worlds.
It was also announced that NOILION have been chosen to produce the opening theme song for "Ultraman Season 2", which will be released worldwide on Netflix this April. The song's title 3 has a number of different meanings, referring
to its three minutes of sound, Ultraman’s three minute timer, the three members of the group, and the three dimensions of the XR video produced by REAK. The song is already available for download and streaming via Spotify, Apple Music, and other major music distribution websites. The full single will be hitting stores on CD on January 21st.
