Mixed media hip-hop project "Paradox Live" will release a new album on March 30th.
"Paradox Live" is set in the near-future, where rappers perform using a special metal called "phantometal" that generates illusions. In the story, groups from various walks of life who excel at performing with phantometal are invited to a mysterious
contest called "Paradox Live" by a legendary club called "CLUB Paradox". The winning team will be awarded a prize of 10 billion yen and the right to challenge a legendary rap unit called BURAIKAN.
The "1st Stage Battle" started in March 2020, with four groups competing and the results being decided via fan votes. Twin duo cozmez were announced as the winners in March 2021.
Titled Paradox Live Opening Show -Road to Legend-, the new album will feature nine songs, including one track each from the four groups who competed in the "1st Stage Battle", BAE, cozmez, The Cat's Whiskers and Akan Yatsura,
as well as one each from four brand new groups who have been added to the story for this new chapter. They include idol unit VISTY, AMPRULE, a duo consisting of BAE member Hajun Yeon's younger half-brother and the family's
masochistic butler, the eccentric group 1Nm8 ("inmate"), who are said to have a higher affinity with phantometal that creates unique illusions, and the angry, prison-themed group GokuLuck. The final track will be from BURAIKAN.
The voice cast for the new characters features some familiar faces, including utaite Amatsuki as 1Nm8's Kei Miyama, Poppin' Party's Aimi as Aoi Kureha from VISTY and voice actor/singer Makoto Furukawa as GokuLuck member Yuto Inukai.
In addition, the release will contain two more CDs featuring voice dramas documenting the final battle between cozmez and BURAIKAN and kicking off the story of Opening Show -Road to Legend-, as well as individual voice dramas
for each of the four new groups.

"Paradox Live"'s
official YouTube channel is currently in the middle of a consecutive upload campaign, where a new team trailer or a music video is unveiled each day for eight days. So far, five of
the videos have been revealed, and AMPRULE's MV Do as I say is scheduled to premiere on February 9th at 4:00am (EST).
