Posthumous Releases from Sayaka Kanda

Record label Pony Canyon will release two albums in memory of the late singer and actress Sayaka Kanda on December 14th.

MUSICALOID #38 Curtain Call! is the final installment in the singer's MUSICALOID #38 series, in which Kanda performed covers of popular Vocaloid songs. It will contain her previously-unreleased take on Orangestar's Asu no yozora shoukaihan, plus thirteen tracks from the previous three albums.

LIBERTY ~memorial~ is a reissue of Kanda's second solo album, first released in 2011. In addition to the original album's ten tracks - a blend of original compositions and covers, such as Part of Your World from “The Little Mermaid” - it will contain the single version of her 2003 song, garden.

The simultaneous releases will come four days before the first anniversary of Kanda's untimely passing on December 18th, 2021.
