Four Korean bands have decided to rock the UK. Galaxy Express, Apollo 18, Gate Flowers and Goonamguayeoridingstella (Goonam) will be part of Korea Rocks tour, presented by Hyundai Card Music.
The dates and venues are as follows:
April 24th: Kent @ Tunbridge Wells Forum
April 26th: Wrexham @ The Bank (Focus Wales)
April 27th: Wrexham @ Yales Café Bar (Focus Wales)
April 28th: London @ Barfly
May 1st: Manchester @ Night & Day Café
May 3rd: Liverpool Studio 2 (Liverpool Sound City)
May 4th: Liverpool @ Kazimier Gardens (Liverpool Sound City)
The Korea Rocks tour club gigs in Kent, London and Manchester are free concerts, but Focus Wales and Liverpool Sound City festival gigs require purchasing festival wristbands or tickets.
Check out these four amazing bands: Galaxy Express was chosen in 2011 as Best Musician of the Year and in 2009 as Best Rock Album at the Korean Music Awards, while post hardcore/punk music act Apollo 18 were in 2010 Best Rookie of the Year, and Gate Flowers rocks with hard, alternative sounds (2011 Best Rookie and Best Rock Song of the Year). They will be accompanied by groovier psychedelic soul and pop sounds from Goonam (2012 Best Modern Rock Album).
