Progressive rock band AQANESUSS will release a new album on December 21st.
The self-titled AQANESUSS is a concept album containing nine tracks inspired by a vision of Earth in 4000 AD. It features guest appearances by Qui guitarist Takashi Hayashi, Evraak saxophonist Imagawa Tengoku, and violinist Akihisa Tsuboy.
The band is led by drummer Tatsuya Yoshida,
who is best known for his avant-gardist work with the likes of Ruins and Vampillia, although AQANESUSS's sound is an altogether more orthodox brand of progressive rock.
The lineup also includes frontwoman Kyoka, Nayuta Teikaku keyboardist Madoka Tsukada, Margaret Maggie bassist Mayumi Shigeto, and guitarists Nobuyuki Itou and Jin Kirita.
