A new visual kei project called MISSREAD was recently unveiled.
The unit is described as as "proto device" for vocalist Mirai, who was formerly known as ex-LUCIFER frontman Mika. His support members for
this project include ex-LUCIFER members Ryoga and Yori, on guitar and bass respectively, and drummer Taro.
MISSREAD is currently in an early stage of its development. The project updated to "version 2.0" following a show called delete file 22 on December 30th, 2022, but its official website hints that a "final update" is still to come.
Like LUCIFER, MISSREAD is mainly active in the Kyushu area. They will play a number of shows in Fukuoka and Hiroshima starting on January 4th, culminating with a show featuring three more visual kei bands hailing from Western Japan
titled Kinsokuchi at Fukuoka Tenjin graf on March 2nd. Details on their schedule are available on their website and Twitter and Instagram accounts.
