Visual kei band Zeke Deux will release a new mini-album on February 22nd.
Lux en Athena will contain seven tracks, including the title songs from their live and mail order-limited singles Lucifer, Catharsis and Catastrophe. Limited to 300 copies, the CD will also come with a 12-page booklet.
The title Lux en Athena combines the name of Zeke Deux's fanbase "Lux" with the Greek goddess Athena, who is associated with crafts, wisdom and war. In a song with the same title that is featured on the release, a man who is filled
with despair is able to get back on his feet and demonstrate his strong will because he realizes that if the people who believe in him are always by his side he can continue pressing forwards. Vocalist Kakeru, who wrote the lyrics for the song,
stated that it captures a feeling he has continued to experience himself through his activities with bands - a feeling that he can continue on no matter how many bitter experiences he faces because his fans are there supporting him.
