Rock duo
Rebellious Streak have announced their disbandment.
The double-act, which was formed by vocalist/bassist
Chihiro and guitarist
Rumi in July 2019, had already paused activities last July. Because there's little prospect of Chihiro's throat issues — the reason for the ongoing hiatus — improving in the near future, the bandmates opted to call it quits.
Rebellious Streak grew out of Zestria, a 'girls rock' band
Chihiro and
Rumi both played in. The duo released a handful of singles during their run: most recently #MayStormAnswer in October 2021.
