Visual enka singer Hanamizakura Kouki (aka Kouki, the vocalist of visual rock band D=OUT) has announced the release of a new double-A-side single for September 27th.
Tequila Mole / Kanpai shimasenka, Nishinomiya de will be available in three editions, named the ‘Hana ban’, ‘Sakura ban’ and ‘Shiawase ban’, respectively. Each version will contain the two title tracks as well as an exclusive coupling track and karaoke versions of the included songs.
The ‘Hana ban’ will feature Tameiki kusa as its coupling track, while the ‘Sakura ban’ will feature Koi no fujigi and the ‘Shiawase ban’ will contain Jinsei sakura uta.
The title track Tequila Mole was written by visual enka singer Mogamigawa Tsukasa (TSUKASA from THE MICRO HEAD 4N’S and Luv PARADE). The two artists are longtime friends and they have worked together previously in a side project called Mogamizakura Gekijou. At present, they work together in project called Mogamizakura Zensen, which also features Miyoshi Seiji (aka Seth from Moi dix Mois) as a third member. The second title song Kanpai shimasenka, Nishinomiya de is described as a melancholic piece that features him singing about his beloved hometown.
