Singer-songwriter HANCE released his 17th single, Sakurabana, on July 24th.
Described as "a moving ballad that transcends language barriers" and "a testament to the beauty and strength of Japan," the song is said to delve deeply into the themes of love, loss, and the human spirit's ability to overcome adversity. The
song's core melody evokes classical Japanese music, and it's layered with contemporary pop elements.

HANCE commented:
"Sakurabana is a song about cherry blossoms, but I wanted to release it before August 6th, the day the atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima, and August 15th, the day of the war's end.
"I've always wanted to create a piece of art that would showcase the beauty of Japan to the world. I'm so grateful to have had the opportunity to shoot the music video for Sakurabana in my hometown of Izumo City. I hope that the video
will inspire people to visit Japan and experience its unique culture for themselves."
