LiME, the vocalist of visual kei band KIZU, has announced that his record label DAMAGE will be debuting a new band called sugar.
sugar consists of four members: vocalist Nea, guitarist kentaro, bassist Siz and drummer yukichi. They will make their debut with a single titled Jam, which will be released as a download card accompanied by
candy on September 14th.
In addition, DAMAGE has announced the Amai jinsei keikaku program, which will feature the label's artists holding collaboration events with a number of live venues and six specialized CD shops across Japan, in an attempt to reexamine the spaces where core fans in the visual kei scene gather. These events will include BLOG
MAGAZINE-exclusive performances from KIZU, solo performances from LiME and instore events and concerts from sugar, some of which will feature guest appearances from LiME. The program will culminate with sugar's first
one-man live, Nandemo nai yoru, which will be held at Ikebukuro EDGE on January 5th, 2025, and KIZU's one-man show at Nippon Budokan, Homura, which will take place the next day.
