Shin Hyesung is currently working hard to complete his third solo album, which is due for release at the end of August. GOOD EMG have begun an interesting unveiling process on the album's website (
http://www.goodenter.com/HYESUNG/), to heighten the anticipation of the release - on August 4 a teaser photograph was released on the website, and a video will be released on the site on August 8. It is said that a new video will be released on the website every Monday at 3pm.
In an interview with Yonhap News,
Shin Hyesung spoke of ballads suiting him best but that for this album he is expanding his range and showing everyone a different side of himself. The album is said to contain more upbeat tracks, with genres including dance pop, alternative rock and disco, a drastic change from
Shin Hyesung's signature ballad style.
Shin Hyesung has said that this change is not for the sake of following trends, but for him to better understand his own strengths.
