Rain looks set to become one of Time Magazine's top 100 most influential people for the second year running.
In last year's poll he was voted the second most influential artist in the world, second only to the Taiwanese director
Ang Lee.
In this year's vote the singer is currently number 11, ahead of other entertainers such as
Brad Pitt and
George Clooney and even ahead of world political figures such as
Nelson Mandela and
Al Gore.
