On June 18th,
IS, also known as
Infinity of Sound, will be releasing their mini-album
In Dreams Volume. 1.
IS released their debut album
Step One in March of 2007, and were one of the fresh faces in the New Age music scenes. Their debut album was a mix of electronica, vocals and acoustic instruments, but with the release of this mini-album they'll be exploring some more traditional Korean music. The mini-album contains six songs, including a remix of
Bom, from their first album.
IS consists of Korea University School of Arts graduates and sisters
Kim Jina, who plays the gayageum,
Kim Seona, on the harp, and
Kim Mina, on the haegeum. They have previously created music for the movie
Antique Bakery and TV drama
Return of Iljimae.
