Morning Musume To Grace Japan Expo in Paris

This year, popular pop group Morning Musume will be the musical guests of honour at Japan Expo, which will take place in Paris from July 1 to July 4. Morning Musume will be performing and hold a public conference in addition to signing sessions.

After the appearance of AKB48 last year, the appearance of another major act such as Morning Musume comes as no big surprise. However, visitors should be aware that the festival ticket does not include the performances; visitors will have to purchase separate tickets.

Other artists will also be making an appearance in Japan Expo. First time in Europe, the artist HITT will perform on July 1, the day of his DVD release, when a signing session will also be held. Hip-hop act SUIKA who had performed before in France, will also return to perform in Japan Expo this year. The anime music world will be represented this time by ANIPUNK, a five-member unit covering anime theme songs with a rock and punk tune. The band die!!die!!color!!!, a pop rock group with an eclectic flavour will also be performing.
