A new compilation CD is set to be released this coming January, featuring current visual kei related acts, including
Merry,
D,
DaizyStripper and
heidi., covering the hit songs of well-known '90s VK artists.
The compilation is titled
Crush! 90's V-Pop Best Hit Cover Songs and will be released on January 26th 2011. It is currently available for pre-order at
CDJapan and comes with an all-colour 32-page booklet featuring interviews with all the participating bands.
All of the covered artists have had a part in shaping the early visual kei scene, and include bands such as
X JAPAN,
MALICE MIZER,
